Southeastern's Haylee Hilton has been selected as the 2026 Pickaway-Ross Student of the Year. Haylee is completing the Culinary Arts Program and was nominated by three of her instructors for this award.
Haylee shared, “I intend to pursue higher education and specialize as an intervention specialist. However, I will also utilize my culinary expertise if I ever work in a restaurant.”
Haylee explained that the most rewarding aspects of attending Pickaway Ross is that it is not just tests and homework, "It’s a place where students can gain hands-on experiences and receive guidance towards pursuing fulfilling careers. "
As graduation approaches Haylee reflected upon her experiences at Pickaway-Ross.
"I would like to add that at Pickaway-Ross, students don’t only gain hands-on experience but they do become eligible for many certificates. These certificates allow students to become many things in a workplace depending on the job and certificate. I would also like to say I’m grateful for every single academic/instructor that believed in me and pushed me to where I am today."
Congratulations Haylee!
