#1.Photoshop Name

Create a Photoshop image for your page featuring your name.

File size should be 500 px X 500 px at minimum.

Save as a png file and upload to your webpage for grading.

Refer to class lecture/demonstration as you create your name.

This assignment requires you to create a custom shape that text follows on a path.

Tools: Custom Shape Path tool, Text tool.

#3. Creating Text on a Path around an object

Using the Ellipse Tool, you will create a path around your chosen object in order to type on that path. Refer to the handout and class discussion.

#4. Text Behind a Person/Object

Choose a picture that contains a single person on animal. You will then type text that is bold/wide that spans the individual. You will then adjust the opacity and use the eraser tool to achieve the final result. Refer to the handout and class discussion.

#5 Photoshop Typography

Create a text document using a Serif font. Save at least 6 clip art images of the same subject. Follow handout instructions and class discussions.

Using a Word Cloud generator (tagxedo) and Photoshop, you will create a customized word cloud with a photo background and text effects.

Choose a picture that an item can be isolated and colorized. Follow class discussion to complete the project. See examples below.

Create a font poster using a variety of fonts, colors, layouts, and brushes to create a unique look. Select a quote or a phrase to use. Background pictures are acceptable.

Choose a picture that has a simple, plain background.

Choose a photo where you can select an item, individual, or person and invert the rest of the photo. Follow the classroom discussion and handout to complete this assignment.
